- Contact details
Your phone no. and/or email needs to be stand out prominently. Supplying your hours of operation is very helpful. Adding your address helps to legitimise your company as does adding a map and business photo.
- Company Profile
This is a good place to state your point of difference, business philosophy, commitment to service, vision, mission statement, qualifications... all those items that let potential clients know and feel happy about the type of organization they will be working with.
List what you do and why you're a good choice. Outline the benefits of your services, not just the features.
Display your products clearly with good photos and product descriptions. Highlight products suitable for any particular applications. Note any top sellers or product reviews and this can increase confidence in a product choice.
- Photo Galleries
People love photos! Photo galleries will add interest to your site and can really sell your firm.
- Special Information
Sites that are good resources get repeat visitors and referrals. Make any special information accessible on your site: brochures, colour options, swatches, technical information (drawings, MSDS, TDS, Approvals), product selectors, information "research" pages etc.
If you can provide a quick answer for all those questions that everyone asks, this will be really helpful to (and appreciated by) your users.
Referrals from happy client are a great method by which to help potential clients feel more comfortable choosing your organization.
